I have always had very good luck with GoDaddy. Their customer service is great, it is easy to make domain name purchases and setting up websites or blogs is made quite simple.
Tonight I ordered a domain name and a QuickBlog. I was not sure what I would get with the QuickBlog so I tested it out. It is a wizard based blog builder and pretty simple to use. I wanted more access to my HTML code and QuickBlog does not offer this access. I called customer service and asked to cancel the service ($2.95/month-better pricing if you choose more months) and with no questions asked they walked me through it and credited my PayPal account. They offer a ton of services at a fair to cheap price and I will continue to use them.
