I just got done watching the first ever Snowboard Cross. What these crazy young Americans will invent to have another chance at a gold medal. 4 guys/gals racing down a hill at breakneck speed, elbowing, biting, slapping each other around. I like it.The really crazy event is Skeleton. If Luge wasn't bad enough, now there is a similar sport at similar speeds where the competitor lays on their stomach and stares straight ahead at their impending doom. I think I can see why it is called Skeleton. That is all that is left after the ice tears all the meat off you at 85mph. The atheltes are either the bravest people in the world or the dumbest. Since they are Americans, they must be the bravest. All the others are dumb.
